We are currently scheduled for Recruit Training this summer to be held starting the 24th of June to the 7th of July. For those Cadets who will be attending, need to plan on arriving between noon and 1600 on the 24th and plan to depart sometime after noon on the 7th after graduation and also after all the buildings have been turned back over to the Army. Anyone coming as Staff need to plan on being on site till all buildings are cleaned and turned over or are released by the Commanding Officer. We hope to have a great training this summer and we have some other things in the works to make it better but they are not set in stone as yet. As we did last year, we will have PT Gear, Shirts and Shorts, available for preorder and purchase at cost. PT Tee shirt's are $7.00, Shorts are $8.00. We have some extra Sweat Shirts and Sweat Pants left over from Winter Training and will offer them for sale as well, also at cost, $37.50 for each set. First come first served. If you would like extra hats, they are $4.00. If you desire to get extra gear, please include the number desired, sizes, and money order with your request for orders sent to the COTC. As always, feel free to call if you have any questions about RTC, uniform requirements ETC... I plan to leave the photo's from Winter Training up on the website for anyone to look at till we start getting photos for summer training to post.

Welcome to the USNSCC Recruit Training being held at Camp Pendleton VANG in Virginia Beach, VA from 24 Jun 2012 - 7 Jul 2012. Our goal is to provide the cadets an introduction to the life of US Navy personnel, and basic instruction on a variety of Naval subjects. Due to the nature of this training, and the fact that the training is being hosted on a military installation, cadets are required at all times to present themselves as mature and self-controlled. You may see sights in this training you are unaccustomed to, and you may be practicing some of what you learn on individuals. Your ability to participate as a member of the team is paramount. There will be classroom and hands-on learning in a wide variety of topics. We will also have the opportunity to meet professionals, especially service members, who have completed advanced training and work in specialty fields. There will also be some time (very minimal!) for recreation and socialization. As the training progresses, we plan to upload news and photos as much as possible on a daily basis. Sometimes we get very busy and the internet service can be kind of unreliable at times, so please be patient with us and we will update as often as we can. select the day you would like to view from the buttons on the 'NEWS & PHOTOS' link to the left. Please check ''IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS' link at left for important update to training requirements. Thank you

CONTACTING CADETS AT THE TRAINING For emergencies, calling the COTC at 919-478-1402 or the Admin Officer at 919-478-1402 will be the fastest way to reach a staff member. The cadet will probably not be able to be brought to the phone, so explain the situation to the staff member and they will take the appropriate action. Cellular phones brought by cadets will be confiscated at check-in and will not be returned until the end of training. While trainees are not allowed to send e-mails, they may send U.S. mail to family and friends and may receive e-mails. Click on the link below if you would like to send an email to a cadet or staff member. DO NOT send any emails after 4 JUL 2012 Please add the recipient's first and last name at the end of the subject line. DO NOT EXPECT A REPLY, AS THE CADETS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SEND E-MAILS. ALSO, DO NOT EXPECT PRIVACY. STAFF WILL READ AND SCREEN ALL E-MAILS, AND WILL NOT PASS ON MESSAGES THEY DEEM INAPPROPRIATE.
